honestly, the guy is amazing at making techno songs. take a visit to the audio portal, go to techno, and you'll see at least three of his songs in the top 50 at any given time. I decided that because I'm so in to his creations, that I'd download them and put them on winamp. I have also put them onto iTunes and my iPod. so nowadays when I'm supposed to be paying attention in math class (as if I did in the first place), I'm sitting in the back listening to Twilight Techno or Frozen In Black And Silver or something. now I have all of his techno songs, and I can definitely say with 100% confidence, Dimrain47 is a fucking god.

I fancy Operation: Evolution myself, but indeed that one is good as well.
Dimrain is pretty cool, but he is seriously lacking a lot of important aspects. He's got good diversity and catchy melodies, but almost none of his songs use a bassline or decent percussion. Also, many of his songs sound similar to others. Sure he tries different styles, but he isn't as unique with them as he should be. Like 'Cloud Control' and 'Jetstream'. I'm not saying he's bad, I'm just saying he's a bit overrated, but that's just one man's opinion.
The most talented artists on newgrounds (in my opinion) would have to be Waterflame, Milkman-Dan, Helix6, cornandbeans, Draze, and Rucklo. I'm not trying to cynical, i'm just saying you should check them out before jumping to conclusions!
I know perfectly well what you are saying. cornandbeans happens to be another of my favorite audio artists, my favorite submission of his being Blaze. and while some songs may sound like others, there are some that are completely different, a few being Revolutions and Operation: Evolution. I have many artists that I listen to in the audio portal, but Dimrain47 is by far my favorite.
Dimrain47 is probably one of my favorite audio artist too, but I do love cornandbeans as much. You should check out EON, ParagonX9, HouseMasta, ya there is a lot more audio artist there in the NGAP. But I've loved Dimrain47's music before the redesign.
You know, if your a real REAL great fan of his, and you have a myspace, you should add him as one of your friends. Thats what I did LOL :D
