Well its official, Spain have won the Euro2008 trophy by a score of 1-0. The goal was scored in the 33rd minute by Fernando Torres on a breakaway. Spain was definitely the better team this match, so hats off to them, they deserved to beat Germany.

Anybody would be a better opponent than France or Poland.

No, see, desertification really fucks things up. It buries everything. The Middle East isn't undergoing desertification, it's a dried up sea. Spain, however, is going to be buried in sand. You can't have a country if its people and its government are buried in sand.
the whole of the country of Spain isn't going to be hit with a shit storm of sand. we have technology you know, given a few years we'll have the power to stop it. The entirety of the country will not turn into the sahara, I can assure you of that. The government will still be perfectly able to function. the people will be fine, because you can't really instantaneously bury 44 million people in sand, which is what it would take to wipe spain off the map. Oh well, what I guess I'm trying to say is...
